The November student of character assembly for students in preschool through sixth grade was in the reading room Friday morning. They received November tokens for earning the honor/duty award.

The sixth graders put on a skit to explain that the Book Bash reading contest starts Dec. 1. The fifth graders have made a bulletin board in the hallway so that each student can add figures to their personalized snow-globes after they read at home. Each student who completes the required amount of minutes will also receive a free t-shirt designed by the fifth graders. Students who read 600 minutes will receive a free pass to Silverwood theme park. The Book Bash reading contest runs through Jan. 17.
