Program nets 33 Tekoa youths

Summer reading at the Tekoa Library concluded with 33 youngsters completing the reading requirements. Volunteer Theresa Raines put together all of the craft projects during the six week summer reading program.

The teen/adult summer program continues through Aug. 15 and drawings for the teen/adult program will be August 16. Prizes include two Silverwood passes, a haircut from Kate’s Hair & Tanning Salon along with a free coffee certificate for the adults from Eclair’s Coffee and Co. or a free non-alcoholic beverage from C & Ds Bar & Grill.
