Obituary - Edna F. Macpherson

The funeral for Edna MacPherson, 94, former co-publisher of the Palouse Republic, was at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse Monday with the Rev. Larry Veith officiating. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse.

Mrs. McPherson died Nov. 1, 2012, at Sullivan Park Care Center in Spokane Valley where she had lived for the past four years.

Born Feb. 28, 1918, at the family ranch near Hullett, Wyo., to William and Edna Blakeman, she rode horseback to a one-room schoolhouse. After her father was elected sheriff, she lived in the county courthouse in Sundance, Wyo., where she attended high school...
