Nancy Nowack Hilgers
A memorial service for Nancy Anne Hilgers, 74, was Friday at the Freeze Church in Potlatch with Pastor Kathy Kramer officiating. Burial followed at the Freeze Cemetery. She died early Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at the Ashley Inn Assisted Living in Vancouver.
Born May 13, 1937, at Potlatch to Leo C. and Lora McCown Nowack, she attended the Potlatch Schools and graduated from the Potlatch High School in 1955. Her favorite interests growing up were 4H where she was an award winning member. She received her real estate license in 1980 and worked for Stan Wiley Inc. and Prudential NW properties. She worked until 2008 and received numerous awards over the span of her career.
Survivors include her son, Lance Hilgers, Vancouver; one daughter, Christine Duncan, California; two sisters, Lora Neal, Garfield, and Terri Nowack, Spokane; two grandchildren, and two great–granddaughters.
