Kruse wins CCF basket

EMT Scott Kruse was winner of the fourth Annual “What a Basket” raffle by the Colfax & Community Fund. Fund chair Jeanette Solimine reported the basket raffle, which was stationed in the Rosauers lobby, raised more than $800.

The community fund acts as a single fundraiser for 10 agencies that support social services in the community. The fund is administered through entirely volunteer labor and has no paid employees.

Local agencies receiving support from the fund are Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse; the American Red Cross; Boy Scouts of America; the Community Action Center; Community Child Care Center; Council on Aging and Human Services; Families Together for People with Disabilities; Palouse Industries; Palouse River Counseling Services, and the Colfax Youth League.
