Joyce Lust recognized for piano performances

Endicott

Former long-time Endicott resident Joyce Lust was named Resident Volunteer at Harbor Crest senior living community in Spokane for December. She often plays the piano at the lobby of Harbor Crest.

Joyce grew up and lived in Endicott for nearly 80 years. She married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Lust, and they had three girls and three boys. They were married for 54 years until he passed away. Joyce was the Trinity Lutheran Church organist for nearly 64 years.

Trinity Lutheran Church will host a community soup & bread supper on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 5:30 p.m.

Elizabeth Circle will hold their monthly meeting and sewing day on Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.

The Endicott Gun Club met Sunday which was foggy in the morning but clear by afternoon. Twenty shooters showed up. They were quick to get in and out so they could go to LaCrosse and try to win some crab and bacon at the meat shoot there. High scores were men: Ed Schultz 22, Sean Lewis 22, Jim Pelissier 22, Travis Schlunegar 22; women: Marissa Dormaier 18, Jessica Geissenger 15, Nadine Rice 11, and youth: Hunter Weitz 23, Connor Pelissier 21, Nick McAdams 19.
