Hospital highlights - Whitman Hospital is wired!

Whitman Hosptial and Medcial Center has again been named as one of the 2011 “most wired” hospitals in the country. This makes three years in a row that our hospital has qualified for listing by Hospitals & Health Network Magazine.

Many people have contributed to this achievement, including all caregivers, but specifically all clinical and medical staff are to be commended. Several have worked toward this effort in recent years, with Cristi Shindler, Heather Reathaford, and Denise Fowler being the leaders that helped make it happen.

The doctors have played key roles in working with all to try and make this work for them. The clinical staff have persevered in learning how to do things differently and for the betterment of the patients. IRM staff have worked tirelessly to support us. Tina Bass, Vince Koerner, and Paul Sweet have worked to install needed equipment and keep it running. The list goes on and on. Congratulations to everyone.
