Ellis will advise CHS cheerleaders

Colfax school board approved the hiring of two part-time staff members Monday night.
Connie Ellis was hired as Colfax High cheerleader advisor for football and basketball. She will replace Rhonda Pittman. Ellis serves as Colfax City Clerk and has been a volunteer coordinator for the Distinguished Young Women competition in Colfax.
Pittman concluded her stint as cheerleader advisor at the CHS basketball banquets.
Janel Stirling was hired as a kitchen assistant at the high school for two hours per day. She will replace Gail McNeilly who resigned.
