Colfax, LaCrosse & Tekoa – Storytime – Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Thursday. Check the calendar for times and themes. Malden – 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.- GED Prep Class – Individual and class help for those studying for GED from a qualified instructor.

Friday, Nov. 30

Endicott, Palouse, St. John & Uniontown – Storytime – Fun stories, crafts, activities and finger plays every Friday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Saturday, Dec. 1

St. John – Winterfest – The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the kids to visit Santa between 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Seventy new children’s books provided to the St. John Branch by Libri Foundation will be on display and ready for checkout.

Monday, Dec. 3

Garfield – 1 to 3 p.m. – SHIBA Medicare Information – Joyce Leonard will be available to answer any questions about Medicare’s Open Enrollment and Medicare Supplements. St. John – 5 p.m. – Family Storytime – Librarian Clancy and Storyteller Mrs. McGillicutty invite everyone for Family Storytime. Come are you are, pearls or pajamas, and enjoy stories and activities for the whole family.

Tuesday, Dec. 4

Endicott – 1 to 3 p.m. – Free Medicare Help – Joyce Leonard will be available to answer any questions about Medicare’s Open Enrollment and Medicare Supplements.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Colfax – 5:30 p.m. – Tree of Lights – Honoring those who have passed, the Hospice Tree of Lights Ceremony is in the Norma McGregor Community Room of the Colfax Library. Endicott, Garfield, St. John & Uniontown – After School Program – Exciting after school programs in four locations. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Thursday, Dec. 6

Colfax – Winter Celebration – Celebrate Winter with Whitman County Library. The library hosts a number of fun activities for people of all ages. Photos with Santa, from Leifer Photography, will be available between 3 to 6 p.m. The fun concludes about 6 p.m. with a community parade and firework extravaganza.
