Colfax – 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Beginning Bridge – Jane Aune offers beginning Bridge classes each Tuesday and Thursday in April at Jennings Elementary in Colfax. To register, contact the library at (509) 397-4366 or email Kristie at kirkpatr@colfax.com

Friday, April 5

Tekoa – Noon to 2 p.m. – Fun and Games Day – Spring break getting boring? Come to the library for grade school games.

Saturday, April 6

Oakesdale & Garfield – Gardening Classes – Horticulturist Donna Guske teaches a series of gardening classes in two locations. Check the Events Calendar for topics and times.

Monday, April 8

Colton – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Medicaid Workshop – SHIBA representative, Joyce Leonard offers free Medicare information tailored to meet the needs of current and future recipients. St. John – Noon to 1:30 p.m. – Lunch & Learn – Learn about waste free lunches and “upcycle” some old silverware into garden markers with Judi Gray. Endicott & LaCrosse – Small Vegetable Garden Workshop – Learn how to plant and maintain a small space that can provide tasty and healthy food. Check the calendar for times.

Tuesday, April 9

Malden – 1 to 3 pm. – Knit Wits – A needlecraft group that meets every Tuesday. Comprised of every level from beginner to advanced in crochet and knitting. Contact Branch Manager, Patricia at (509) 569-3771 for more information and location.

Wednesday, April 10

Tekoa – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Container Gardening – Horticulturist Donna Guske teaches container gardening. All adults are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Thursday, April 11

Colton – 3 p.m. – Second Tuesday Club –Learn about waste free lunches and “upcycle” some old silverware into garden markers. Children in grades k-6 are invited.
