County contest slated at LaCrosse

On March 7 LaCrosse School will host the Whitman County Speech, Spelling and Math contest for fifth through eighth graders. Students county wide will compete in spelling, math, impromptu speech, persuasive speech or interpretive speech.

The LaCrosse Chapter of FFA is selling pans of enchiladas by pre-order only. A small pan of three is $6 and a large pan of six sells for $12. They will be available March 13. Please call the school if you wish to place an order.

The Tigercats will play in Spokane on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. in the State 1B basketball tournament. If they win they will play at 9 p.m. on Friday. Should they lose they will play at 2 p.m.
