COA Volunteers Appreciation Dinner

The Council on Aging hosted its second annual 'Volunteers Appreciation Dinner' Wednesday, May 3, at the Colfax pantry.

Margie Anderson, Fiscal and Operations Manager at COA, and Ryan Avery, administrative assistant and Coast driver, cooked up an elaborate taco bar to feed the 54 people who attended.

Volunteers from county wide COA supported food pantries, Coast Transportation and the COA senior meals all came to be celebrated.

COA even gave away raffle prizes, including gift baskets from Flowers, Décor and More, and gift certificates from Old European restaurant in Pullman and Nectar restaurant in Moscow.

The Council on Aging has more than 100 core volunteers throughout three counties in Washington and five counties in Idaho.

The dessert pies were made by Julie at the LaCrosse Café.
