Roadside philosopher Pamala Clift will be at the Colfax Library next Wednesday, June 6, at 6:30 p.m. for an interactive presentation, “Virtual Isn’t Going Away!” Using insights gathered from her recently released book, “The Virgin’s Handbook on Virtual Relationships,” Clift will explain how we can assist young people in integrating the virtual world of social media with the pressures of today’s world.

Books will be available for purchase at this presentation.

Learn how to make bracelets out of old t-shirts on Wednesday, June 6, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Colfax Library. Youths in grades 5-8 are invited to a free Bracelet Making program.

Only two sessions remain for Thursday Storytime in the Colfax Library, today, May 31, and June 7. Baby Time for ages 0-2 at 10:10 a.m., Toddler Time for ages 2-3 at 10:30 a.m. and Preschool Time for ages 4 and up at 11 a.m.

Playful Learning will be each Friday from 10-11:30 a.m. This free playgroup is open to infants, toddlers, young children and those who care for them.

The Friends of Whitman County Library business meeting will be Tuesday, June 5, at 11 a.m. in the Colfax Library. This meeting is open to the public.
