Bays return for Cox funeral

Pastor Dennis and Marion Bay of Seattle were in the area this past weekend. Pastor Bay helped officiate at the funeral services of Lena Cox on Saturday.

Guests at the home of Dick and Helen Appel for Christmas were Joe and Sue Lynch and Caroline and Rob Kunkel, Zack, Kade, Elly and Lucien, Pullman; Lisa and Travis Frei, Miriam, Rachel and Emma, Palouse; Neil Appel and Josh, Noemi, and Isaac, LaCrosse; Eric and Shannon Appel, Connor, Christopher, Sarah, Kyle and Sidney, Colfax; Phil Appel, Spokane; Sabrina Appel, Salem; Steve and Dianne Appel, Dusty; Dave and Alice Appel, Colfax; and Lois and Theodore Scholz, Colfax. Joining the family on the 26th were Bruce and Elaine Appel, Logan, Charlie and Spencer, Hamilton, Mass .; and Barb and Bruce Wollstein and Kate, Lacey. The week was spent doing lots of visiting and the Appel pig butchering.

Lucky and Joan Myrick hosted a belated Christmas last weekend. Rick Myrick and Jannetta and her daughter Keirstyn, Moses Lake, arrived the Thursday before the weekend. Mike Myrick and his son Michael and Rhonda Cluff, Spanaway, arrived Friday. Saturday, they were joined by Larry and Di Brink, Robb Myrick and Mike Stine.
