Riebold tops Palouse bids

The City of Palouse received six bids for the surplus metal building on Main Street. Part of the Brownsfield cleanup site, the 28 x 40 foot 1950s building drew a high bid of $1,555 from Stan Riebold of St. John. The bid statement required the buyer to remove the building from the property. Palouse city council approved the sale in a meeting Feb. 28.
