NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Whitman County roads/bridges will be closed to vehicular traffic for the 2011 Snake River Canyon Half Marathon, pursuant to R.C.W. 47.48.01, for the time periods specified below:

County Road No. 9000, the Wawawai Road from the Wawawai Park to Steptoe Canyon Road on March 3, 2012 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

STATE OF WASHINGTON

Sealed bids will be received on the following proposal by the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, Washington, until 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, on March 12, 2012 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Handicap access may be obtained by the Mill Street entrance to the Courthouse.

Each bid is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners with the name of the bidder and item bid, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope. (NO FAXES ACCEPTED.)

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid which in its estimation best serves the interests of Whitman County.

ORDINANCE NO. 214-12

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON, WASHINGTON, repealing Ordinance No. 212-11, which required utility taxes to be deposited in specified utility funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Ordinance No. 212-11 is hereby repealed.

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after this ordinance, or a summary thereof, is published in the official newspaper of the, Town of Farmington as required by law.
